Cancellation and refund policy
This policy explains how to cancel a purchase or subscription on 1CV and when you get a refund, in accordance with the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, and the Consumer Protection (Cancellation of Transaction) Regulations, 5771-2010.
1. Free use
Free use of the service involves no payment, so there is nothing to cancel. You can stop using the service at any time and ask for your account to be deleted by writing to info@1cv.co.il.
2. One-time purchase
A purchase can be cancelled within 14 days from the day of the transaction or from the day you received the document setting out its details — whichever is later.
If the purchased service has not been used, you will receive a full refund minus a cancellation fee of 5% of the transaction price or ₪100 — whichever is lower.
Under the Consumer Protection Law, the right to cancel does not apply to "information" as defined in the Computers Law. Therefore, once digital content you purchased (for example, a resume that was created or translated) has been produced and delivered to you, the purchase cannot be cancelled with respect to that content. This will be stated explicitly before the purchase.
3. Subscription (ongoing transaction)
A subscription can be cancelled at any time. The cancellation takes effect no later than 3 business days after the notice, and you will not be charged for the period after that.
If you cancel within 14 days of the start of the subscription, the rules of section 2 (one-time purchase) also apply.
4. How to cancel
You can give notice of cancellation in any of the following ways:

- In your account on the website — once paid services are offered.
In the notice, please include your full name, the phone number of the account and the transaction details.
5. Refunds
Refunds are made within 14 days of receiving the cancellation notice, to the payment method used for the transaction.
6. Senior citizens, people with disabilities and new immigrants
A senior citizen (aged 65 or over), a person with a disability and a new immigrant (up to 5 years from receiving the status) may cancel a transaction within 4 months, if the transaction included a conversation between 1CV and the consumer, subject to the conditions of the law.
7. General
The exact terms of every paid service — price, what is included and the cancellation terms — will be shown before the purchase. This policy may be updated; a transaction already made is governed by the terms in force when it was made. In case of a conflict between the Hebrew text and a translation, the Hebrew text prevails.
