1. Who is responsible for the information

The website and the service are operated by 1CV ("1CV" or "we"). 1CV is responsible for the information collected on the website and in the service.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide: your mobile phone number (to log in with a WhatsApp code), name, email address and the resume file you uploaded.

Information from the resume: the content of the file — work experience, education, skills and contact details — and personal details if you included them, such as date of birth or age, marital status, country of birth and driving licence. To translate the resume correctly, the gender of the resume owner is also determined — from what the file states, from the wording of the text or from the name. You can change or remove this value in the resume editor at any time.

Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the source of your visit and measurement or advertising identifiers.

3. Do you have to provide the information

You are not legally required to provide us with information; doing so depends on your will and consent. However, without a mobile phone number an account cannot be opened or accessed, and without a resume or professional details we cannot provide the service.

We recommend not including in your resume sensitive information that is not needed for a job application, such as information about health, religion or an ID number.

4. What the information is used for

• Creating an account, logging in and securing the account (sending a one-time code on WhatsApp).
• Processing the resume into an editable profile and creating versions for a job, language, country or template.
• Contacting you about your account, registration or the service.
• Operation, security and prevention of misuse.
• Measuring and improving the website, the user experience and our campaigns.

5. Processing with artificial intelligence

To turn the resume into a structured profile, the content of the file is sent for processing to an artificial intelligence provider — Anthropic (the Claude service, United States). The provider processes the content on our behalf under the terms of its service.

The result is automatically checked against the original file, and you can review and correct every detail in the editor. The service makes no automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

6. Sharing information with third parties and abroad

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate 1CV, and only to the extent needed:

• Anthropic (United States) — processing resumes with artificial intelligence.
• Meta (WhatsApp) — sending login codes to your phone number.
• Google (Google Ads) and Yandex (Yandex Metrica) — measurement and advertising.
• Hosting and email providers — hosting the website and the information and sending messages.

Some providers operate outside Israel, so information may be transferred and stored outside Israel, in accordance with the Privacy Protection Regulations on the transfer of information to databases abroad. Information may also be disclosed if required by law.

7. Cookies, measurement and session recording

The website uses cookies and similar technologies for operation, measurement and advertising, among others through Google Ads and Yandex Metrica.

Yandex Metrica includes the Webvisor tool, which records how the pages are used — mouse movements, scrolling and clicks — so that we can understand how the website is used and improve it.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them may affect some functions of the website.

8. Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, manage the account, maintain security, comply with legal requirements or resolve disputes. The retention period may vary by type of information and operational need.

9. Information security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information: access to it is restricted, resume files are stored outside the public area of the server, and logging in requires a one-time code. However, no internet system can guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights

Under the Privacy Protection Law, you may review the information about you that we hold and ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, incomplete, unclear or out of date.

You may also ask us to delete your account and resumes, and ask not to receive marketing messages from us. Some details can be updated by yourself in your account and in the resume editor.

Requests: info@1cv.co.il. We will handle your request as soon as possible and within the period set by law. We may ask you to verify your identity before handling the request.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page, and the date of the last update will be shown at the top. In case of a conflict between the Hebrew text and a translation, the Hebrew text prevails.
