Terms of use

1. General

These terms apply equally to all genders. In case of a conflict between the Hebrew text and a translation, the Hebrew text prevails.

2. The service

1CV lets you upload a resume, turn it into an editable professional profile and create versions of it tailored to a job, language, country or design, with the help of artificial intelligence.

The service is an aid only. We do not guarantee employment, an interview invitation or any other outcome.

3. Registration and account

• Registration and login use an Israeli mobile phone number and a one-time code sent on WhatsApp.
• You must provide accurate details and keep access to your phone and account secure. You are responsible for actions taken in your account.
• We may block or suspend an account in case of misuse or a breach of these terms.

4. Your content

The resumes and information you upload belong to you. You grant 1CV permission to use them only as needed to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.

You are responsible for the information being accurate and for having the right to upload it. Do not upload information about another person without their consent.

5. Content generated by artificial intelligence

The service improves wording and presentation and is not supposed to add experience, positions or skills that are not in your profile. Still, AI output may contain errors or inaccuracies.

It is your responsibility to check every version before sending it to an employer or using it, and to correct it as needed.

6. Free use and paid services

Part of the service is free to use, including 2 free AI generations every month. The scope of free use may change.

If paid services are offered — a one-time purchase or a subscription — the price (including VAT), what is included, the payment terms and the cancellation terms will be shown before payment. Cancelling a transaction is subject to the cancellation policy.

7. Prohibited use

• Uploading content that is illegal, offensive or infringes the rights of others.
• Attempting to harm the website, bypass usage limits or access other users' information.
• Automatically collecting information from the website or using the service in a way that overloads it.
• Providing false details or impersonating another person.

8. Intellectual property

The website, design, templates, software and content of 1CV belong to 1CV or to their respective rights holders. They may not be copied, distributed or used commercially without written permission. The resumes you create are yours.

9. Liability

The service is provided "as is". We work to keep the service available and accurate, but do not guarantee that it will operate without interruptions or faults.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 1CV is not liable for indirect or consequential damage arising from the use of the service, and in any case its liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the service. This does not limit rights that cannot be waived under the Consumer Protection Law.

10. Privacy

The use of your personal information is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Changes to the terms and the service

We may update the terms and the service from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page and applies from the date of publication. A purchase already made is governed by the terms in force at the time of purchase.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and the use of the service are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Israel have exclusive jurisdiction.
